The consortium AMP (Architects of Modern Power) announced the introduction of the first standard which aims to define common mechanical and electrical specifications for the development of advanced power conversion for use in distributed power systems.

The aim of the covenant between WHERE, Ericsson Power Modules and Murata is to create power solutions deployed end-to-end advanced from the technical point of view, providing a complete ecosystem that combines hardware, software e supporto. Oltre a definire le specifiche di natura meccanica, The group is committed to standardize the monitoring functions, control and communication and creating common configuration files to ensure interoperability, "plug-and-play" between the products of the companies participating in the consortium.

PoL converters digital

For PoL converters digital consortium has defined two standard. The specification 'microAMP'Covering power supplies with rated currents ranging from 20 25A horizontal and vertical configuration, while the specification 'megaAMP’ defines the requirements for units with rated currents ranging from 40 e 50A, always in vertical and horizontal configuration. For bus converters dc-dc advanced, specification 'ABC-ebAMP’ is intended to modules brick of dimensions equal to 58,42 x 22,66mm with power ratings from 264 and 300W. For ballasts brick size equal to 58,42 x 36,83 mm and a power range of 420 and 468 W, The consortium has set the standard 'ABC-qbAMP’. These standards define the mechanical dimensions, the characteristics and configuration files.

I prodotti conformi a questi standard sono disponibili da AMP Group e visibili a Electronica (Monaco, 11-14 of November) at the booths of CUI (B2-113), Murata (B5-107) ed Ericsson Power Modules (stand MEV A4-260).
