IoT, from prospect to reality

In the next few years will be an increasing number of devices that can send and receive data via the Internet automatically. The low power is a much debated topic, because often the devices are battery powered. Wistron is meeting this need by offering a modular wireless solution, based on the new component of IoT Qualcomm Atheros.

Behind this solution, si cela un singolo componente altamente integrato. the QCA4002, that, grazie alle interfacce seriali, permette una connessione rapida e semplice in un ambiente di sistema basato su una MCU. Anche se il QCA4002 ha numerosi componenti RF integrati, There are many customers who do not like the burden of a proper RF design. To take charge of this problem also, Wistron, in collaboration with Qualcomm Atheros, offers the module DNSA-141, based on QCA4002, that inherited characteristics.

Grazie alle ridottissime dimensioni (20x25mm), il modulo può essere collegato via SPI o UART a una MCU host con la stessa facilità del QCA4002, risparmiando all’utente design RF, calibrazione e certificazione finale.
