The Wireless Competence Center (WCC) by Rutronik celebrates the first ten years. The center boasts a team of twenty people, offers a wide portfolio and support to customers globally to ensure the best use of technology and wireless solutions.
The WCC, founded in Sweden in 2005, provides in particular tests for the certifications, design of devices at high frequencies, selection of the best profiles and protocols as needed. Also, the competence of the center shall be submitted every year to customers through seminars throughout Europe and webinars on the latest topics in the world of wireless. “In 2005 our line card was limited to the modules for mobile phones and solutions for local radio connections. Today modules are available with better performance and lower costs” commented Bernd Hantsche, Marketing Director of the Wireless Competence Center.
Today Rutronik offers wireless solutions to hardware, by chip transceiver to those for the connection, up to system-on-chips Nordic Semiconductor, STMicroelectronics, Microchip, Telit, and Redpine Signals. Also available are specific M2M SIM cards that meet the requirements of’Industry 4.0.
